13 days of horror. 6. Trick or treat (2007) Never seen this anthology but always heard of it. A good friend took me to see this on the big screen tonight. Wow….what an enjoyable experience. 4 tales of Halloween horror all intertwined to the last minute. Do yourself a favor and find this streaming. It will put you in the Halloween mood that’s for sure. Two thumbs up for this one. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

13 days of horror. 5. The possession of Michael King. This was a suggestion by someone i trust, especially with horror. The story of a widower who believes in nothing and challenges anything and everything to prove evil and faith don’t exist. Have you heard the saying “F around and find out”?? This is a wild ride. Solid found footage.

13 days of horror 4. 28 years later.
From the brutal opening of the movie to the ending that makes you scratch your head, this one takes you on a journey that doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great story of a father and son, then does a u turn and becomes much more. Watch this on Netflix. Definitely worth your time.

13 days of horror. 3. The toxic avenger (2025) this one had an uphill battle with me because the original holds a special place in my heart. But alas, the cast is great, they nailed the town, and the gore is on point!! Watch it but don’t watch the original first. It should stand alone and be appreciated for what it is. And that’s a good time.

13 days of horror. 2. Weapons. This ingenious script makes this my movie of 2025. The cast is awesome, the performances are stellar, the story is so good i can’t give anything away. Watch it, be surprised by it, love it, then realize why it’s worth your time and attention. This movie gives you everything a horror movie should be giving you. 2 thumbs up. Happy October 🙌🏾

13 days of horror : 1. House on Eden
You can watch this on Shudder. Decent found footage. Abandoned house in the woods said to be haunted. No road leading to it, no power or water in it, but also perfectly cleaned and furnished?? Paranormal investigators hear about it and find it. Once the investigation starts, craziness insues. Nice twists, worth a watch.

Back in the early 1980s, Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas became comedy legends with their portrayal of Bob and Doug McKenzie, two beer loving Canadian brothers whose bumbling charm turned Strange Brew into a cult classic. Their flannel shirts, goofy accents, and outrageous antics made them unforgettable, and the film became a time capsule of pure comedic silliness that still resonates with fans decades later.

Now, the buzz is real: Moranis and Thomas are stepping back into those beloved roles. Seeing them reunited, mugshot boards in hand, feels like a direct callback to their mischievous origins, but this time with a new twist. Josh Gad, known for his energy and comedic timing, has been cast as their son a fresh character who’s expected to carry on the McKenzie chaos for a new generation. The addition of Gad promises a blend of old-school humor and modern laughs, keeping the spirit alive while opening the door to something new.

For longtime fans, this sequel isn’t just another reboot. It’s a reunion of comedic icons who shaped a piece of pop culture history. With Moranis returning to the screen after years away, and Thomas eager to embrace the nostalgia, this project could be the perfect mix of past and present. Whether it’s outrageous antics, absurd adventures, or family squabbles, one thing is certain: the McKenzies are back, and they’re ready to raise a glass together.

Jaws on the big screen. There is no monster I have seen that doesn’t owe a debt to this masterpiece.

A mother’s love for her son, the bond between brothers, and a son making his father proud. Predator: Killer of Killers is the bloodiest Pixar movie I’ve ever seen.
