Limestone Studio is a recording facility located in the village of Creswell, Derbyshire. Part of the ECVC project, the studio is a valuable resource for any aspiring band or musician wishing to professionally record their work. Officially opened by local MP Dennis Skinner on 11th Dec 2009, the studio has already enjoyed successful sessions with various performers and has received a large amount of
interest from both the local community and the wider area.. The studio uses the latest recording software and equipment to ensure clients are able to enjoy the latest recording opportunities available. The studio is equipped with the latest Logic Studio DAW (Logic Pro 9) and the award-winning Focusrite Pro 40 audio interface. The studio uses high quality condenser and dynamic microphones and provides musicians with a selection of guitar and bass amps, as well as an electronic drum kit. We approach each project individually and work closely with clients to achieve the desired results. In addition, the studio offers a karaoke recording service with a large catalogue of tracks to choose from. All recording clients are presented with an attractively packaged CD, copies of which can be made in bulk on the premises for a small fee. Other Services We Offer
ECHOES Project
The ECHOES project is a dedicated video service whereby family photos, videos etc can be put onto a DVD. Soundtracks can also be added if desired. Rehearsal Space
Limestone studio is also available for rehearsals. Bands can enjoy a large rehearsal area and can make use of the studios’ extensive range of live equipment, including Marshall and Ampeg amps, a Yamaha electric drum kit and a large PA system. Training
Limestone Studios also offer multimedia training to anyone wishing to improve their computing skills. The training suite is equipped with both PC and Apple Mac computers.
