French troops pressed northward in Mali territory occupied by radical Islamists on Wednesday, launching a land assault which will put soldiers in direct combat "in 1 to 72 hours," military officials said. A trickle of refugees left on foot from Diabaly, a town seized two days ago by the jihadists who have held onto it despite a punishing bombing campaign by French fighter jets. The refugees arrived in Niono town, 70 kilometers (43 miles south), according to residents. Topics -

Derrick Broze, an anarchist and voluntaryist, is running for Mayor of Houston for the second time to effect change in the city and spread his message of voluntaryism to a wider audience. He has been able to effect change as an activist and journalist, but he has also seen the immense power of the Mayor of Houston, which disenfranchises the people. In 2019, Broze ran for Mayor on a platform calling for changing the City Charter to take away the power of the Mayor, and this idea gained support from local activist organizations who formed a coalition to change the city charter. Broze is also using his campaign to spread his message of voluntaryism and reach a wider audience. He is capable of running intellectual circles around the other candidates and poking holes in their illusion of authority. Broze believes that there has never been a more important time to wake people up, especially as Agenda 2030 and The Great Reset loom on the horizon. If you are interested in learning more about Derrick Broze's campaign for Mayor of Houston and his message of voluntaryism, visit his website at www.derrickbroze.com. On his website, you can read about his campaign issues, watch videos of his speeches, and learn more about his activism and journalism. You can also support his campaign by donating, volunteering, or spreading the word on social media. Whether or not you live in Houston, Broze's campaign is an opportunity to support a message of freedom, decentralization, and individual empowerment. So, visit his website today and join the movement towards a more voluntary society.

Amend the City Charter to take away the power of the Mayor with the goal of giving the power back to the council, and in turn, the people of Houston.
