It's Tip Tuesday! 💡 As a working woman, it's important to prioritise self-care and make time for yourself to recharge, rejuvenate, and bring your best self to both your personal and professional life. 🌟

Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and overall happiness. Find activities that truly bring you joy, whether it's engaging in hobbies you love, practicing mindfulness or meditation to find inner peace, getting regular exercise to keep your body strong, ensuring you get enough sleep to feel rested, or spending quality time with loved ones to nurture your relationships. By consciously prioritising self-care, you can recharge your energy, find a sense of calm, and unlock your full potential.

Personally, I like to start my day with a 10-minute power walk before working from home. It helps me clear my mind, increase my energy levels, and set a positive tone for the rest of the day. There are so many simple self-care steps that can be incorporated into your daily life. Remember, you deserve to take care of yourself and prioritise your well-being. ✨

Keep them engaged and occupied in a safe environment, providing activities that are structured and supervised.
Create a calm and structured home environment with a consistent routine.
Be prepared and organized to minimize stress and waiting times, carrying snacks or distractions to divert their attention.
Communicate your child's needs and expected behaviors to others, including their school, to manage expectations and promote understanding.
Attend parent training to gain knowledge and skills to better support your child.
Remember, staying calm is crucial in effectively managing and supporting your child."

Just had a fabulous weekend with my girlies in Leicester at the Ultimate Xmas Ball hosted by the talented 3Ness crew. The event was jam packed with activities which included fun fitness work out sessions, sumptuous spa facilities, lively entertainment, not least to mention a great dance with wonderful DJs. It was lovely meeting so many beautiful women who after a hard weeks work just want to have some fun. Until next year!

But Serena's courage didn't stop there. Inspired by her cancer journey and her love for dogs, she launched 'Puppy Luv and Wellness', a unique concept that offers puppy-led wellness sessions. 🐶💕

Join me as I dive into Serena’s transformative business venture and how it's touching lives and bringing joy to so many. 🌈

And that's not all! Serena is on a mission to create a free Cancer Support Centre, and she needs your support. 🙌 Whether you can volunteer, become a trustee, or invest, together we can make a difference.

Introducing my new podcast 'Diary of a Working Woman'! Join us as we explore the stories, challenges, and successes of women in the modern workforce. Get ready for inspiration, empowerment, and the real-life experiences of amazing working women. 💪✨💼🎧

Here are six interesting facts about me, the host of Diary of a Working Woman:

1. I grew up in Wolverhampton and moved to London over 30 years ago to pursue a career in teaching.
2. I have a supportive partner and two incredible teenagers who bring joy to my life.
3. I have a playful nature and a love for children, which is why I chose education as my profession.
4. I take pride in being an Aquarian - sociable, independent, curious, visionary, and compassionate.
5. I am fascinated by people and their thoughts, behaviour, motivations, and choices.
6. I enjoy dancing to my own rhythm.
