DAUDA, BAGO, ZULLUM, OTHERS, AWAKEN AREWA THE GIANT!

It is becoming more and more glaring that some Northern Governors are just filling the gap.

How on earth would these Governors with the humongous Federation Allocations, grants, loans and IGRS going into the states remain uninspiring and visionless?

Northern states should start bilateral or Multilateral development Projects between themselves.

What stops Borno-Yobe-Bauchi-Plateau, Kaduna-Niger -Kogi from building a super highway towards south? Mount tollgates and generate resources?

What stops katsina-Kano-Zamfara, Kebbi, Plateau and Niger etc from forming a Joint multifaceted security patrol to comb all the forests and flush out all the bandits?

What stops the Northern Governors from floating a Development world class bank instead of the current exploitative commercial banks that borrow them funds at almost 40% Interest?

What stops nothern Governors from building one economic capital, one industrial capital, one tourist capital, one Agricultural capital, one Academic capital etc in the states of the North, like UAE is to the Arabs, and Switzerland is to Europe?

The world is moving towards Integration and globalisation but some Northern Governors are rather compartmentalising the region for petty political powers.

The more United you are the stronger you become in anything; Security, Economy, Agriculture and Manufacturing.

It is not next jet science for all these to happen, it only requires one or two sittings for every state to present its SWOT for adoption and implementation.

Times is going and Northern Governors seems not to know what agenda to chart for the region leaving the North to discuss petty issues like Dauda Kahutu Rarara, Laylah Ali Othman, Sadiya Marshal, Hadiza Aliyu and Yahaya Mohd Usman and so on with a growing population of jobless youth discussing who bought what type of car, house or who is going out with who? or dancing and Twerking shamelessly on TikTok and insulting each others on Social Media.

This challeng is more to Dauda Lawal who happens to be a High level Banker turned Politician and now Zamfara State Governor. A lot is Expected from Governor Dauda Lawal, alot of Northerners hold him in high esteem and see him as a Professional that will bring alot to not just Zamfara but North and Nigeria, same with Zullum, Abba Gida Gida and a few others.

Instead of allowing mediocre Northerners and some uniformed people leading the discourse for Northern Nigeria, elites and political leaders should close the communication space with more informed issues.

For instance If Lagos needs the FAAN head office because of the volume of Aviation Activities in Lagos, is Bank of Industries not located in Abuja which is Northern Nigeria? Why are Northerners and Northern Governors not leveraging on its proximity to the states?

Why are northern Governors not coming together to pull resources together complete Baro Port? This is a task for Governor Umar Bago

Northern Governors should sheath their political egos, stop blaming Federal Government or looking up to Federal Government for everything, look deeply inwards with honesty and sincerity, start Immediately and in 2 years a lot will be achieved.

Like IG Wala posted sometime ago, if Chinese will come to the North to buy grains what stops someone from the South from coming to the North too to buy? Northerners go to Onitsha and Lagos to buy too. North should coordinate itself.

Nigeria belongs to all but we must develop all parts to make it liveable and it begins with political leaders.

Sai Bago visits Sai Baba: Thank You Gov. Bago for the stop-over.

As I was about to perform ablution to say my prayers, in my Minna office, tinted cars and several motorcycles screeched to a halt and I saw someone Saying Sai Baba, Kira Sai Baba, I couldn’t see the person inside the Car., just as I took steps to approach car, suddenly I heard Sai Bago! Sai Bago!!

It’s a sea of heads, youths all over, crowd gathered!

It was Governor Bago who had stopped over to say Hello to me.

I truly appreciate the stopover and I wish Governor Bago well.

May his vision for Niger come to fruition.

I pray his tenure will be one of the best.

RED FLAGS TO AVOID BEFORE MARRIAGE

I am not a marriage counselor, I am also not a financial expert neither a life coach either, I have never been very rich, neither have I been very poor but I have lived long enough with very poor and very rich people, I have very rich and very poor friends, I have observed and learnt a lot, I am sharing my observations with you, so that you too can learn to avoid the mistakes of others.

I have seen the poor get rich, I have seen the rich get poor, I know a little about what some of them did wrongly or rightly; One of them is ignoring the red flags 🚩 of marriage.

Some marriages with make or mar you.

Some people approach marriage like a fiction movie, but marriage is a reality show, unfiltered and unedited, it is beyond fiction and above a movie, it is a reality show involving real lives, it could be comical or tragic depending on which way the parties take it.

So before getting into it there are a lot of signals that points you to success or failure, even though there is no scientific way to show that marriage will work or fail.

I list 10 flags or signs to tell you it will fail…

1. Jobless man/Zero Income: Marriage to a jobless man is likely going to fail because 80-90% of marriage relies on income, mostly of the man, so a zero income man is a big red flag 🚩 to tell you a crash is ahead. No matter how little there should be a source of income to run things.. I asked a friend what do you do? He said “Buge-buge” (meaning Undefined hustling) I told him get a little business/skill add to the “buge -buge” he felt bad. Truth be told, Honestly “buge buge” no be work. Stealing could be buge-buge too.

2. Overbearing In-laws: Either way, if the in-laws are too involved in the marriage know that, that marriage is like my going to fail.

3. Nagging Partners: Either way, if a partner nags too much, it is a red flag 🚩

4. Comparing partners: Any partner who compares his or her partner with another person elsewhere is likely going to crash such marriage.

5. Talkative Partner: A partner who talks too much and about everything will likely crash his or her marriage.

6. Too open, too close: No matter what, there are little things to keep away and there are things that should not be too open else the partner begins to loose interest.

7. Too many friends: Either way, any partner that keeps to many friends will likely crash a marriage

8. Poor cooking skills: This affects mostly women, if the woman cooks and she is bad at it, the marriage will likely head for the rocks.

9. Unclear terms: Not clearly stating out dos and don’ts, wishes and beliefs to each other, partners should have a fair knowledge of each other’s character etc..

10. Materialistic Partners: Some partners are over materialistic, especially guys, they lie about everything that it destroys everything, some even borrow to keep afloat, you are wasting your time, what you don’t have don’t promise. Promise is a debt, if not kept could destroy your name, honor and goodwill, be real and hopeful.
