【目の眼 電子増刊第7号 特集：西洋骨董のある暮らし】（English below↓）
ネットや催事を中心に活動する志村道具店は、西洋アンティークを中心にしながらも、東洋の陶磁器や家具なども扱い、素材の魅力が感じられるシックでシンプルなしつらいを見せてくれます。今回は白磁を中心に、マンションの倉庫を使って志村さん流のワンルームを作ってくれました。
例えば、重厚感のあるスペインのデスクにデルフトの白磁リム皿。デスクとのコントラストからねっとりした釉調、薄手で気品のある姿が際立ちます。鉄の杭が打ち込まれたデスクの無骨さ、とろとろになった木目も魅力的です。どれも長く愛されて、古びていてもきれいで魅力を失っていないものたちの取り合わせに、西洋風の「きれいさび」という言葉が浮かんできます。コレクションルームを作るのに具体的なヒントをいただけそうです。

Shimura Dōguten is active mainly online and at special events, dealing primarily in Western antiques while also handling East Asian ceramics and furniture. Their chic, simple displays highlight the inherent beauty of materials. For this occasion, Mr. Shimura created a one-room setting centered on white porcelain, using a condominium storage space.
A weighty Spanish desk paired with Delft white porcelain plates is a striking example: the contrast brings out the plates’ rich glaze and refined thinness, while the desk’s rugged iron fittings and softly worn wood grain add depth. Though aged, each piece remains beautiful, evoking a Western sense of kirei-sabi and offering inspiration for creating a collection room.
