It’s that most wonderful time of the year where everyone is overwhelmed drivers are at their finest. You may find yourself in a state of rage, infuriation, anger, frustration, overwhelm on a daily basis.

“Hi! I’m Karen with Wish You Knew. Have you been having trouble concentrating? Or maybe a goodnight’s sleep is something you could only dream of, except you’d have to sleep to dream so you can’t even dream of it. Or are you irritable and edgy all the time or just feeling overwhelmed by life? If any of that describes you, I would like to invite you to Mindfulness Monday. Starting Sept. 25, we will gather every Monday at 8:15am ET for just 30 minutes of mindfulness practice. Folks a whole lot smarter than I am have done a whole lot of research around mindfulness. On the screen you can see just some of the benefits they have found to this practice. Each Monday as we gather we’ll do a couple of different mindfulness activities to center ourselves and get ready of the week. There are just a few examples of what we may do on the screen. This is an opportunity to just do that practice on Monday, or maybe implement that practice for the following six days until we gather again. Those who participated recently in mindfulness moments with me have mentioned they feel so much calmer even after just 20 minutes of practice and some have reached out the following week and said “I went back to that technique when I was really stressed, and had this going on, and it really helped.” So, if you are just feeling a little challenged recently, I hope you will consider joining us, Sept. 25 at 8:15am ET, all virtual.
