Tracy Otto acquired her disability from a domestic violence attack when her ex-boyfriend broke into her home and tried to kill her while she slept. Among numerous horrific acts, her left eye was shot out and she was stabbed, but she finds respite in sport. “My mind is having to work on over drive all the time in order to live everyday life with my disability but when I'm shooting archery, I don't have to think about what I'm doing, I just do it.” A CAF grant will help her perfect her technique as she pursues a goal of representing the US in the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
