If you’re looking for few extra hundred dollars per month and have the time to spare I definitely recommend scribie.com It does appear easy to get started and after researching there does seem to be quite a few uploads to transcribe (300+per day). You are even allowed to preview the audio before you decide to take on the file. This side hustle would also be great to anyone who is fluent in another language. More on the side hustle I do - I work online as a digital/affiliate marketer. My mom, my kids grandma, she is truly a legend and through her actions (the good and the bad) I have been inspired/influenced by her. My mother HUSTLED as did my dad. I come from a family of hustlers 🤷🏽‍♀️😆 From the time I was born till I was mid high school she worked as a registered nurse hustling working those 12 hour night shifts at least 5 times per week. If she was not working she was sleeping. Eventually she wanted out of the rat race she tried her hand at side businesses she would do on her days off. It was too much. She finally decided enough was enough and went back to school and became a nurse practitioner 🎉💪🏽🤓👩🏽‍⚕️ By then I was in high school and we had missed SO much time together. It made me realize I would NEVER do that to my kids whenever I became a mom. So I didn’t. I chose a different path. It’s not perfect and I’m sure I still disappoint my kids 😭🤷🏽‍♀️but all we can do as moms and women is try and do the best WE can! Today my mom is the best grandma! I love these kids and yes 💯 they are my why for doing what I do! Love 🫶 But MAN it’s hard to get work done when they are constantly calling for me 😆🤪 I have got 4 kiddos so someone is always needing something ALL the time - they can’t find their sweater, they are hungry, the wifi turned off, the they need a ride to their friends. 🤷🏽‍♀️ This holiday break 🎄I thought I would have more uninterrupted time to get work done. See, I’m working on a digital product 📖 and I just need 30 minutes to an hour of uninterrupted time to focus. Well, this week the kids are all home from break so yes I have time to work but if I’m lucky I get to work in 15 - 20 minutes increments. I have found that if I work really early before 9 am or stay up till 2 am I can get 3 hours of “quiet” time to myself. This is what I have been doing as I’m determined in my goal to have this work life balance! 🧘🏽‍♀️ Today I hustled and I worked until 1 pm then we all got ready and went on a family bike/run together. 🚴‍♀️🚵‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽 We made memories in that 1 hour we spent together and I’m SO grateful to be present with my kids while they are on break. 📸🎥 This is my WHY for choosing a work from home opportunity. Throughout 2022 I started realizing my outlook toward life was not as positive as it once was. A big part of that stemmed from me trying to keep up with other people’s goals and life plans. It was a toxic mindset for me. I started to realize that all the amazing things I was accomplishing I had no pride in. I realized I didn’t feel success and in fact had imposter syndrome! I realized my goals were not mine - I wondered if I even had goals! I realized I NEEDED to change my mentality to be the best version of me FOR ME but also for my husband, my kids, my friends, and other family. Were those people I tried to keep up with toxic? Were they deliberately making me feel inadequate? NO! It was me. It was my lack of direction and disconnect with my own self that led me to the toxic mindset. THERE IS NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOUR OWN SELF! I am a praying type so I sought out wisdom, discernment and faith! I got my answers! I made those mental shifts! These shifts brought out in me more self awareness, more self discipline and more strength (physical and mental). These shifts led me to have the confidence to do big things this past year. Just to name a few - trained for and finished my first full marathon - WOW! - overcame a fear I had with open water swimming and was able to complete a triathlon - started a new business as a digital marketer that aligns with so many facets of ME - my creative side, my tech side, my business side, my teaching side, my desire to see others grow and succeed, my desire to succeed more as a person as a mother a leader and a mentor.
