I swore up and down I would never play at least 40% of these pieces in public ever again. But I had a pretty great time recording them this way.

Bonus for you oboe players: All these pieces are in the public domain. Did you know that Clemence Grandval wrote her Oboe Concerto in 1877? Do you know how many pieces we have from that era in classical music? (Virtually none.) Do you know how often this piece gets played? (Virtually never.) I'm not sure I'd exactly call *this* her composition, but you should definitely check the piece out.
