It’s been a few days since I last posted….
Because I honestly had to take a step away from social media to have less ‘screen time’ to just be - to breathe and rest. I think it could be a result of me still working a 9-5 while juggling everything els that has left me feeling so tired. So yes working moms - I know how you feel.
I have always loved the Christmas season, but this year, it has been stressful with very little joy. There is so much focus on what gifts to buy and whether the recipient will like the gifts, besides of buying food, and standing in loooooong queues because not all the tills are open. Yes, I know that shopping at the last minute will end up being crazy, but sometimes we don’t have an option.
Having said that, I am also extremely grateful that I have the means to go shopping and that this year we as a family are able to enjoy a few little luxuries, thanks to earning passive income over the last 3 months. I think I have also made a conscious decision to make some necessary changes in 2025, to be able to either cut back on my working hours or quit my job, so that I can spend more time doing things I enjoy. Something that is close to my heart is having more time to work with animal shelters and non-profit organisations and being able to help in a meaningful way. Earning passive income will allow me this time and financial freedom, and I won’t have to worry about finding money to pay the bills and losing sleep over unexpected expenses like I have been.
I am sure for many of us, this time of year makes us more conscious of the need to make changes as the year comes to an end. I admit my biggest excuse not to invest in this passive income opportunity was that I didn’t have time. I recall having a conversation with a friend about this and she said that if you want something badly, you should make the time. I received an email from the person I shared my email with, and she invited me to a free webinar to learn more about the digital growth community and the legacy builders programs. I am so glad I did attend the webinar, because in addition to all the great information shared by Michele, Amie spoke about having had a 70 hour work week and yet she still found the time to invest in this business AND she was a single mom with 3 kids. She was able to quit both jobs and now only works 2 hours a day while enjoying more family time.
