Narratives on Nature from Soledad Gonzalez
Meet Soledad Gozalez, a recent graduate of New College, a fierce advocate for justice, and a voice against oppression and censorship. In this pivotal episode of "Q***r for Cities," join Josh as we dive into a powerful discussion with Sol and her friend and co-organizer Gaby Batista. They share their experiences with SAFE, a student-led initiative fighting against fascism in education, and talk about the power of student organizing to shape a liberated future.
🎙️ Featured Quote:
"I feel like there have always been predetermined narratives about who I should be based on what nature says. When in fact nature is a subjective concept that is very constructed by things like white supremacy and fueled by homophobia and transphobia and a fear of difference. I want to interrogate the term nature. It should be a transformative and revealing experience, a journey, a nonlinear journey, instead of something that is reductive and restrictive." - Soledad Gonzalez

Aaron Greiner - Q***r For Cities Episode 3 Audiogram
Ready for episode 3 of #Q***rForCities? Well, it’s out now!! Join Josh for a dynamic dive into the intersections of q***r identity, urban planning, and public space with special guest Aaron Greiner from CultureHouse. Aaron is an innovative urban designer dedicated to crafting more inclusive cities, and he's here to share his insights on how q***r urbanism benefits everyone.
Audiogram Description: The image features a photo of Aaron Greiner standing against a vibrant graffiti background. Dynamic captions overlay the image, displaying his quote: "The beautiful and the challenging about cities is that they are human constructions. When you look at most places that we spend our time, a person decided to design them that way... A q***r approach to urbanism inherently centers identity, it breaks norms, and it gives people the ability to adapt their space." The graffiti backdrop adds an urban and artistic feel to the audiogram, emphasizing the theme of urban design and q***r urbanism.
