Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles and uprightness. When we can walk in integrity we gain the trust if our family, friends, leaders, and colleagues. We are dependable and hold ourselves accountable for our actions. And this impacts our success in life.
Today I spoke about integrity and highlight a person who walked in integrity from the Bible.

How to be more like Jesus?
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Psalms 19:14
It can be as simple as a cell phone notification or another person calling you when you are praying. Distractions can and will interrupt your prayer time unless you put yourself in a place where you will not be interrupted. Practically, you will need to place yourself away from as many distractions as possible so that you can spend uninterrupted devotional time in prayer. This is so your heart and mind can be focused on God and his word as you pray.

New Episode this week. 😄
In Matthew 6, Jesus directs us to seek the kingdom and its righteousness first and then everything else that we need would be added to us. This is a very interesting scripture and a lot of sermons has been taken from this verse. Does this mean that we shouldn’t work towards any wants in our lives? Is it biblical to have desires for a bigger house, nicer car or frivolous things? Today I’m going to share with you how we are to practically live out this verse?

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. - Ephesians 2:4-7 NKJV
God is rich on mercy and loves us so much. He doesn’t want anything to separate us and sent his son Jesus to be the bridge that helps us stay on relationship with him. It’s amazing grace, amazing kindness. It’s amazing love when if you haven’t been to church in a long time. I hope this episode encourages you to change your habits concerning church attendance.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. - Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth - Revelation 3:15-16
We all need to be careful about what we believe and how we live, especially as adults. When we were children, our parents had the responsibility to teach us the things of God and bring us to church, but as adults our devotion and discipline to gather in church is our responsibility. Only going to church on special occasions only shows how lukewarm our hearts may be towards God. It shows that we want only as much of God so that we can think we are safe and going to heaven but we don’t want so much of God that we need to give up our comfort and worldly ways. Truth is, you will miss out on Gods best by not following him daily. Also, God doesn’t want lukewarmness so be hot or cold. Not in the middle. Don’t deceive yourself by not committing to going to church regularly and learning so you can live in Gods best for you.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Go, worship the Lord. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.” But Moses said, “You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the Lord our God. Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the Lord our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the Lord.” But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go. Pharaoh said to Moses, “Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die. - Exodus 10:24-28 NIV
You might be saying “what does this verse have to do with finances?” Well, Pharaoh knew that the livestock is what was used to give offerings onto God and if they didn’t have any a goat or a ram, then they wouldn’t be able to present an offering to the Lord. Also, at the time the more livestock you had was an indication of how wealthy you were because they would produce food and clothing for you and your family. This is relevant for us today to understand because the enemy would want Christian’s to have some money but not enough so that they can worship Hod extravagantly. The enemy wants us to have the illusion of freedom without really being free indeed.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. - John 14:27
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7
May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace. - Psalm 29:11

”Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. - Proverbs 22:6 NIV
This responsibility is with the parents. It’s up to us to recognize the gifts and abilities that your children have and feed those passions. As our children grow to adults those passions will mature and allow your children to make an impact in this world for Gods glory.

You have to fight to protect your marriage. There will always be a battle to keep the peace in your marriage. The enemy always attacks Christian couples because a successful happy God centred marriage produces a successful god centred family and successful kids the do great things in the world for Gods kingdom. If enemy can break up the marriage, then there is a likelihood that the kids won’t get the best foundation to become all that God has called them to be. So we need to fight for our marriage by standing on Gods word. Today I’m going over some verses that we can apply to yourself and your marriage to keep it strong and whole. The couple that prays together stays together! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Here are some verses that you can read and meditate on.
Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. - Ephesians 5:33
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. - Colossians 3:13-14 (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. - I Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV

We want to have a thankful heart and attitude as we have ended 2023 and have started a new year. There are plenty of people who we may have known that are no longer here or the year 2023 was a tough year for them. We need to remember to look to God and say thank you Lord for all that He has done for us. Even if we are not in a perfect situation, as long as we still are still breathing we have a reason to thank God. Full episode at the link in my bio. 🙏🏾

Giving
With Christmas just around the corner, we usually start to get excited about gifts that we are going to get (especially kids). But we need to put an emphasis on giving as well. God has blessed all of us and we have an opportunity to be a blessing to others when we give to others.
Occupy Until He Comes
Some Christians feel like poverty or lack is what God wants for us and that we are to just pray and try win the lost to Jesus. Christians are encourage to try to get others to know Jesus however the Bible doesn’t say we need to be poor or not acquire money or material things. We can want those things but we cannot allow them to become a god or idol to us. The verse “Occupy until I come” comes from Luke 19:12-13 and today I’m going to show you what the Bible says about having money or material possessions while we are here on earth.
Interview with Daniella Ordonez
The truth is that students are constantly being presented with information that paints a negative picture of the Christian faith. Many students have compromised their beliefs for the sake of social benefit. No longer will students be bullied into abandoning their faith.
Today we spoke to Daniella Ordonez about her book "Faith Crushed in the Classroom: Combating lies and equipping students"
Your Gift Will Make Room For You
I’ve been doing some thinking about Proverbs 18:16. It says that our gift will make room for us and bring us in the presence of great people. But what does it say about the gift? Does it mean a talent or ability that you are born with will make room for you? Or does it mean that if you bring a gift to someone that it will make room for you. I spoke about it in this episode.
