New Clinic opened in Moresby South
Moresby South MP Hon. Justin Tkatchenko opened a new Health Clinic in Koki yesterday along with NCD Governor Hon. Powes Parkop.
Mr Tkatchenko said way back in 2017 he made a promise to the people that he would ensure that land titles are in place and new infrastructures will be made and that is the achievement that was seen yesterday at the opening of the new clinic.
For so long, Kaugere clinic was the one that was the only place nearby for people to go get treatment. We saw the need and budgeted for a new clinic which we are all proud to have the facility opened and comes at cost of K900, 00.00.
Equipmentโs for the new clinic will be coming from Australia while medical supplies will be from the city. Tkatchenko challenged the community to take care of the new clinic.

We would like to thank outgoing Prime Minister and PNC party leader Hon. Peter OโNeill for his great service to this country.
Your resignation on the 29th of May 2019 in parliament shows that you as a mandated leader by the people had the courage to step down for the sake of stability and create confidence in our people and the business community so the country can move forward. Your actions have set you apart and set a foundation for young members in parliament to respect the democracy of this country.
In the 8 years in office you have improved and delivered vital services and delivered more infrastructure than any other governments. The jetties, wharves, airports, bridges and roads have allowed our people to travel and make business.
2018 saw us hosting a successful APEC meeting in the country where 22 economies arrived in this country to not only strengthen our bilateral relations but to improve our global image as well. APEC saw the PNG Electrification Partnership struck with Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the United States. It has the goal of connecting 70 per cent of the population to electricity by 2030. Some doubted you will not deliver but you proved critics wrong.
Your party policy agendas including Free Health Care and Free Education has seen the expansion of the health and education sectors. Your government has been able to educate more than a million children, enabling them to attend high schools right throughout the country. But most of all and importantly our female students, our girls right throughout the country.
We can go on and on but everything you have done for this country can be attested by both young and old citizens of this great nation.
We thank you from the bottom of our heart and wish you all the best as you continue to serve the people of Ialibu/Pangia and the people of this country.
