The Inland Northwest will experience the first heat wave of the season this weekend into next week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will have the potential to break some records. Central/eastern Washington as well as north Idaho in the upper 90s and triple digits. At this time, we don't see a significant cool down until late next week.

Hot temperatures and low humidity will accelerate the drying of our landscape leading to increasing fire danger.
