There's a half-century tradition behind WSVM. Thru-out the years, listeners have been treated to a variety of music and local information. The names of our personalities have certainly changed as well as the music we play, but the one consistent component is the "LOCAL" information. On September 27, 2012 mobile DJ and radio veteran Bert Lindsay officially became owner of WSVM's broadcast license.
The current format of "Classic Hits" (70s & 80s) will be maintained as well as some additional musical offerings designed to reflect local music preferences. Bert Lindsay currently delivers local news as well as hosts the Trading Post from 10 - 11 AM each weekday. "Cap'n Mike" Rogers is back, handling fill-in duties when needed as well as lending his deep, booming voice to station commercial production. WSVM streams live 24 hours a day. When programming is not originating locally, music is delivered via satellite courtesy of the Westwood One Classic Hits Total. You may stream our broadcast to your desktop, laptop or smartphone. We recommend using TuneIn.com. Once the TuneIn app is installed, simply search for WSVM. Then, save it to the tab titled "Local Radio". It will be just a couple of keystrokes away from rich, savory Classic Hits and Local Programming. Questions, Compliments or Complaints may be directed to Bert Lindsay via email. His station address is [email protected].
