SJNHS Campus Clarion Takes a Leap into the Virtual Realm of Campus Journalism with Explained PH

San Julian National High School (SJNHS) Campus Clarion embraced the future of journalism by participating in the Virtual JournCamp: Skill Enhancement Series for Campus Journalism hosted by Explained PH on November 25-26, 2023.

Spanning two days, the Virtual JournCamp covered a spectrum of categories essential to campus journalism such as news writing, copyreading and headline writing, feature writing, editorial writing, sports writing, science and technology writing, editorial cartooning, column writing, online publishing, and radio broadcasting and script writing.

Participating actively in the said virtual journalism event highlights SJNHS Campus Clarion's adaptability and commitment to providing students with a comprehensive journalism education.

Virtual JournCamp by Explained PH serves as invaluable platform for nurturing the next generation of storytellers in an evolving media landscape.

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲: 𝐒𝐉𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

San Julian National High School (SJNHS) concluded its National Reading Month aligned with this year's theme, "Pagbasa: Pag-asa sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan", November 24,2023.

The festivities kicked off with engaging preliminaries, setting the stage for an eventful day dedicated to promoting the love for literature among the students.

The highlights of the day were the lively "Cosplay of Literary Characters" where students brought their favorite literary personas to life, adding a creative and visual dimension to the celebration, and the “Declamation Contest” which showcased the acting talents of the students.

The literary flair continued with different competitions such as Oratorical Speech, Verse Choir, Sulat-Bigkas ng Talumpati, Madulang Pagkukuwento, and the intellectually stimulating Spelling Bee, where students exhibited their linguistic prowess.

The SJNHS National Reading Month Culminating Activity served not only as a celebration of literature but also as a reminder of the pivotal role reading plays in shaping a resilient and hopeful future.

San Julian National High School Celebrates 26 Years of Excellence: A Day of Unity and Diversity.

In a vibrant display of unity and academic pride, San Julian National High School came alive with spirited performances, and a strong sense of unity as it held its 26th Founding Anniversary with the theme "SJNHS @26: Celebrating Diversity, Building Unity, Together We Soar.", November 10, 2023.

The festivities kicked off with a civic parade participated by SJNHS Marching Band, students, teachers, and administrators showcasing their pride of the school and the diversity it represents.

The event also featured oath taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the different school clubs and organization conducted at the school grounds with Hon. SB Lemuel Gereña and Hon. Cirilo Madolid as inducting officers.

Following the ceremony, the SJNHS Marching Band (SJNHSMB) took center stage with an exhibition setting the tone for the day's celebrations.

Moreover, the Founding Anniversary was filled with other contests such as Quiz Bee, Spoken Poetry, Poster Making, Slogan Making, Band Competition and Booth Making which allowed students to express their innovative and artistic sides, talents and skills. The Laro ng Lahi, traditional Filipino games, brought a sense of nostalgia and encouraged friendly competition among participants.

Throughout the day, the spirit of unity and camaraderie was palpable. Students and teachers collaborated in various ways, further reinforcing the theme of "Building Unity." The celebration was a reminder of how diverse backgrounds, talents, and ideas can come together to create something truly exceptional.

[LOOK] 𝐒𝐉𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

San Julian Municipal Plaza came alive with an atmosphere of exhilaration and intense competition as students, teachers and staffs of San Julian National High School gathered for the much-anticipated Intramural on October 11-12, 2023.

Teams from different grade levels, namely, the Green Cubs, Sophomores, Fighting Maroons, Blue Eagles, Dragon Warriors, and Panther Fighters, showcased their athletic skills and sportsmanship throughout the two-day extravaganza.

The event kicked off with a grand opening ceremony, featuring a colorful parade of enthusiastic participants and a saludo competition. With banners waving high and loud cheers echoing through the air, the stage was set for the very much awaited part, the Mr. & Ms. Intramurals.

The school's intramurals highlighted sportsmanship, camaraderie, talents, and skills of athletes and students in preparation for the San Julian District Meet on October 20 - 21, 2023.
