This is a reminder to be content with your life and with what you have. ❤️

It is easy as women, to compare ourselves, our lives, experiences, and possessions with other people. Especially in a culture where materialism is considered “feminine.” But no matter how much we gain it will never satisfy us. Only having a rich relationship with the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit will fulfill us. ❤️

“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
Luke 12:15

Father God,
I pray for whoever may be reading this right now, Lord. I pray, Father that You would give them the gift of contentment, that they would practice thankfulness in their hearts God. Thank You for Your provision, not only materially but for the grace and the strength that You provide for our souls. I pray that we would not compare our lives to others. Give us discernment so that we will not believe that everything is as it appears. Some may be seek rich, yet be in poverty while others appear poor, yet are rich.

Regardless, the only riches that matter are the riches that we have towards You, Lord so I pray that we would value being close to You above all else, knowing You, learning from You, and being obedient to You Father, because we cannot be close to You without this. You say Lord that if we love You, we will obey Your commands so I pray God that we would truly love You and not the things of this world. Cleanse us and help us to throw off every attitude of disbelief and discontentment that is polluting our soul. Thank You for what You are doing in our hearts today God and thank You for Your faithfulness to us.

In Jesus name I pray, amen! ❤️

It is so beautiful how God’s creation displays His character. The word “glory” is defined as “magnificence or great beauty.” I don’t know how you view the Lord or what you have been taught to believe about Him, but I dare you today to start letting His creation speak for Himself. ❤️
