The Psychology Times Independent Voice for Psychology in Louisiana The Psychology Times is a free, independent online newspaper for those in psychology community in Louisiana.

It was founded by Julie Nelson, Ph.D., a psychologist and journalist who grew up in a weekly newspaper family in rural, north Louisiana, where she learned that psychology and journalism had a lot in common. Since it's beginning in 2009, the Times has earned 28 awards from the Louisiana Press Association including first places in Best News Coverage, Best Investigative Reporting, Best Continuing New

s Coverage, Best Editorial Cartoon, as well as the prestigious award for Community Service. We welcome ideas for news, features, Letters to the Editor, photos, and other material related to psychology community and related groups in Louisiana. Editorials and commentary reflect the opinions of this newspaper. Columns and Letters to the Editor express the opinions of the writers and not necessarily those of The Psychology Times.
