King David Records is a home-based record label located in downtown Jerusalem, founded by the Bezalel family with a mission to empower and heal young people who are at risk, often struggling with drug addiction, mental health issues, and other challenges. The label provides professional music and music video production, social media management, and functions as a music production label that turns potential talent into a professional product.
The music production process is designed as a form of therapy, aimed at building the self-esteem and creating a new self-image of these young people. It also provides them with tools to generate income, either through live performance as a street musician or through the sale of physical and digital merchandise.
Yakir Bezalel, an experienced music producer, provides professional services and guidance to help these young artists reach their full potential and gain the confidence they need to overcome their challenges. The program is based on a routine of twice a week, two-hour music studio production sessions provided by a home studio unit of the Bezalel family.
The fundraising campaign aims to raise $50,000 to cover the costs of rent, studio upgrades, resources, and support for these young musicians. With every donation, no matter the size, supporters can make a real difference in the lives of these young people and help continue King David Records' mission.
