I had the opportunity to see and do many amazing (and maybe a few wild things) during my 45-night crossing from Athens to Sydney last October onboard the beautiful Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady. Being chosen to be a “Stallion” was one of those wild experiences…But wait, Let me explain!
One of the most popular shows on board Virgin Voyages ships is the saucy “The Hostess Sings Her Secrets,” a must-see cabaret-style show presented by Aly, the Hostess, on Resilient Lady.
During the 30-minute show, the hostess sings her favorite songs with her crew of dancers.
During each performance, she invites a guest on stage to be her “Stallion,” and this time, I was the “lucky” one.
This #reel is all about that… the day I was a Stallion onboard a Virgin Voyages cruise ship!

Imagine this: you’re on a Royal Caribbean ship, going about your day, when suddenly, you’re serenaded by a talented pianist in the most unexpected places-a crowded elevator, a busy corridor. The surprise of it all leaves you wondering, how did they even fit a piano in here?
The Stowaway Piano Player on the Icon of the Seas was not just a surprise, but a true talent. His performances were nothing short of spectacular, and he never turned down a request. Just watch this #short video, where he gives his spin to a Taylor Swift song requested by a little girl.

Santorini – Greece, is one of the most recognized and photographed places on earth. However, arriving at the caldera via water, either by ferry, cruise ship, or private boat, will leave the traveler with only a few options to reach the charming villages on the crater’s top lip. From the port of Fira, the first option is to embark on the cable car, a short voyage to the top that takes less than ten minutes and costs 6 euros; the problem here is that with many cruise ships and other embarkations in port, every day, the queues for the cable car can take more than two hours. With the second and third options, we can climb the steep and sinuous steps that lead to the top either by foot or Donkey. The donkeys are very popular with tourists and cost 10 euros each way (Up or Down). I didn’t consider this option…firstly because the 15-minute ride can be a bit scary, especially if we think about the erratic nature of the animals running lose so close to the precipice border, and also because I felt sorry for the poor animals, that were cleared worked out, spending the day caring tourists up and down without having any food or rest. As I could also use the workout myself, I decided to climb and endure the 30-minute walk uphill to Fira, and in this short video, I share my “short of breath” but totally worthwhile experience. Lol
P/S: Due to the queues on the cable car, I ended up coming down walking as well, which was faster and less strenuous (even though quite slippery).

Last May, while aboard the Icon of the Seas at Port Miami, I had the opportunity to capture some amazing cruise ships leaving the port as they sailed past our still-moored vessel.
Today’s reel is all about one of those ships, the stunning Carnival Sunrise. The ship set sail in 1999 under a completely different name, Carnival Triumph. However, after a $200 million refurbishment in 2019, which included numerous enhancements, it was renamed and began cruising as the Carnival Sunrise.
Seeing this grand vessel passing by at such a close distance was truly a breathtaking experience, and, boy, the passengers onboard seemed to be having so much fun at their sailaway party.

Last May, I had the privilege of capturing the awe-inspiring ‘Independence of the Seas’ as she majestically departed from the port of Miami. The sight of this grand vessel passing by at such a close distance was truly breathtaking. Not only was she a sight to behold, but being in her presence allowed me to truly grasp the immense scale of this ship.
It’s truly fascinating to consider that when she was launched in 2008, the Independence of the Seas reigned as the largest cruise ship in the world. The sheer size of this vessel, especially when compared to her younger sister, the colossal new largest cruise ship in the world, the Icon of the Seas, from where I was filming, is mind-boggling.
It’s unbelievable that so much change happened in just over a decade.

The talented Washy Washy crew onboard Royal Caribbean continues to impress, this time on the world's largest cruise ship, the beautiful Icon of the Seas.
When arriving for lunch at Windjammer I had the pleasure to meet my old friend Jay again (Whom I met two years ago onboard the Wonder of the Seas and now was promoted to Mr. Washy Washy) and he invited me to dance with them on the spot… and wouldn’t get a no for an answer… and this video is the result and I apologize in advance lol ( in my defense I was hungry, the song was long and I have two left feet lol)
