We spent three days in Bavaria and it was quite the whirlwind!
We took a gondola and saw beautiful views from the mountaintops and experienced picturesque villages in this amazing area!

We tried some fantastic German food in Mainz! We also got to check out their beautiful cathedral. Cara and her cousin went to the Gutenberg Museum which is one of the world's oldest museums of printing. It's a lovely city and we'd love to spend more time there.

The Rhein River is so beautiful and we had an amazing time checking it out. We had some gorgeous views. We got to take a gondola ride down into the valley and visit a castle that even Carly got to visit!

Visiting Rothenburg feels like walking around in a fairy tale. It makes sense that it was the inspiration for the village in Walt Disney's Pinocchio. Everywhere you go is charming. We visited the German Christmas Museum there it was really cute and had a large selection of things you could buy. We also walked the city walls. In the end, Carly was just ready for a nap.

Cologne was the first city that we visited in Germany and it was an awesome way to start. It was really beautiful there. Their cathedral was large and kind of imposing, but also very cool. We walked around the city, and crossed their lovely bridge. We also got to ride in a gondola across the river and traffic. It was such a fun experience.

We only had a brief time in Amsterdam, but we tried to make the most of it. We walked around the city and along the canals. We took a boat tour of the canals that was beautiful! Cara got to visit a museum of cat art. We also celebrated Jeremy's with a birthday dinner at a garlic themed restaurant called The Garlic Queen. It was really good! 🇳🇱

We loved our time in Belgium! We got to visit Antwerp and Brussels. The train station in Antwerp is one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. The architecture is gorgeous all over the country. We got to try some local treats including waffles and frites! We also got to see Brussels' Manneken P*s.

Our friends Jason and Josh took us to Hastings to have a very British day out by the seaside. We had a really nice day full of British things we’ve come to love, like cream tea. We also experienced some new things we are excited to experience again in the future. If you haven’t yet, you should head over to the YouTube channel to see our fun day out.

We really loved our time in Robin Hood's Bay. It was a place that a lot of people told us that we needed to visit, and boy where they right!
They have beautiful beach there and so much character in that little town. It really is a must visit! While we were there we had to go just down the road to one of our favorite places from a previous trip, Whitby!

Lincoln's Cathedral is one of the most wonderful ones that we have seen and it's pet friendly! So, Carly got to experience her first cathedral visit. There are amazing views of it all over the city including from Lincoln's equally cool castle. We also found some great food at Brown's Pie Shop that was recommended by our friend Alex and a number of other people in town.

Nottingham was such a cool experience! We got to see a bunch of the Robin Hood-related tourist attractions, but we also got a fantastic tour of the city from our friend Ryan and enjoyed a pint in a pub built into the cave systems in the city. It's such a cool place!

We really loved the city of Coventry. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed it as it wasn't a place we heard that much about before we went.
We visited the Coventry Music Museum home of the 2 Tone movement. It was really cool! The remains of their cathedral are a really beautiful thing to visit and experience.
We also loved FarGo Village. It was full of awesome food, cool stores, and wonderful people.

We had such a wonderful time exploring The Cotswolds!
We've had so many people suggest that we visit this area and boy were they right. It really feels like something out of a fairy tale. The cottages and villages are beautiful with lovely little rivers running through them.
We'd recommend it to anyone and would love to come back.

When we visit a city that we have been to before we like to try new things. While we were in London we found a lot of cool new places, but couldn't help visiting a couple of favorites spots again too! We also finally really visited Buckingham Palace and got to see King Charles leaving!

We had an incredible 5+ months in the UK last year, exploring a lot of England, Scotland, and Wales. 😍 I still can't believe all of the places we went (and that we were able to bring our dog!) and yet it feels like it was just a blip and the trip was over. We will begin planning our next trip soon, although I'm not sure when exactly that will be yet.
