We are looking for a knowledgeable HR/Payroll Officer to align HR objectives and manage the payroll units across the customer’s organization.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: HR / Payroll Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Human Resources Manager
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding of staff on behalf of clients managed.
Registration & documentation of newly employed personnel
Ensure Personnel have HMO, Pension and ID Cards.
Gather and collate daily, weekly, or monthly timesheets.
Ensure prompt payments of salary to personnel according to SLAs.
Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
Ensure that client receives invoices promptly according to SLAs.
Enter new employees’ data (e.g., bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases.
Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and other deductions
Prepare and distribute payslips.
Liaising with Pension Fund Administrators (PFA)
Ensure process flow is seamless.
Perform any other functions requested by the Head of HR.
Requirements and Skills
B.Sc. in Accounting, Human Resources, or any relevant field
Minimum of proven 3-5 years’ work experience in Human Resources/Payroll Officer in the Oil & Gas, Maritime industry.
Hands-on experience with HRIS, Accounting software and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
