Al Noor is an undergraduate-run academic journal at Boston College, dedicated to the study of the Middle East. We publish research from undergraduate students, graduate students, and active scholars, in addition to photo essays and interviews. We aim to:
- Facilitate a nonpartisan, unbiased conversation within the Boston College community and beyond about the Middle East
- Provide a medium for stu

dents to publish research on the Middle East and Islam
- Promote diverse opinions and present a comprehensive view of the myriad cultures, histories, and perspectives that comprise the Middle East
- Be considerate of the complexity of the region while pursuing the utmost objectivity.
