This week we lost , a teddy bear who had my back at the SFMTA and let me cry at cafes, on walks, in his office. (Adulting really can’t be done alone.)
This one time he gave me a crystal rose in a glass case, like the Swarovski thing your grandma would display. “Are you trying to say I’m a delicate rose?” “Yep.” “Can I trade this in for some earrings?” “Yep.”
He’d always advise I needed a bit more “f**kit” in my system.
He’d often text that he missed me. Now I miss G the most, and realize how breakable I really am.
Rest in power, King.
