INDYBroad A Vision of Democratic Independent Broadcasting. To refine the overall aim in detail INDYBroad have set specific aims.

Our overall aim is: To forge and maintain a trusted democratic news broadcaster in Scotland that creates an inclusive space for discussion and debate, through integrity of contribution and clarity of organisation. All of which are to be vital in accomplishing the INDYBroad mission and supplying the services proposed.

_̲D̲o̲c̲s̲
Exposing truths, gaining knowledge and sharing it amongst the people is the best tool we have in the world at this time. With the internet still in its early years we have the information to gain understanding and the platform in which to share our insights with the people of Scotland and across the entire planet. I would like this section to bring to attention Scottish matters which do not get televised or recognition from within the education system. Matters such as; Faslane 365, Democratic Deficit, Age of Rationalism and Scottish Cultural Change throughout History, will most defiantly be addressed from within this format alongside positive natured ideas on what we can do together as a Nation to create a fairer society.

_̲L̲i̲n̲e̲s̲
The purpose of this section is to imitate the stylistic manner of televised headline broadcast but as an independent broadcaster, from each of the 32 Scottish areas, providing a 10 minute headline Video-log relevant to Scotland and their local area. The main headline to be across the board will be voted on
weekly by the broadcasters with at least another 2 headlines of their own choosing, being part of the weekly broadcast. If the expansion of headline broadcasters across the full 32 areas is successful further expansion of Video-logs could be based on; Science, technology, business, world affairs and sport. Even expansion from within the 32 area broadcasters is a possibility as to create both right wing/left wing reports to be released aside one another. Although this is looking forward into a proposed variation of the future to get the 32 reliable, professional area broadcasters from across Scotland is vital to the success of the INDYBroad concept.

_̲R̲a̲l̲l̲i̲e̲s̲
All gatherings including small independent meetings should be filmed and uploaded in the quickest possible manner as to increase the availability of the message the speakers are trying to get across. With each speech being uploaded separately but set into a play-list of the days events. Question and Answer
sessions should also be filmed and uploaded to be at the end of the days play-list as to ensure people do not fixate on the same unanswerable questions as they will tend to play into the favour of the status quo.

_̲V̲i̲e̲w̲s̲
The main purpose of this section is to interview a “real” person each week for the full 52 weeks of the year as to gain a perspective of the people of Scotland to be shared amongst the people of Scotland. Alongside this, if the opportunity arises, political, cultural and academic names can be interviewed with specific premise to the interview itself as an attempt to further educate the people of Scotland.
