Greetings, scummers!

It’s been one hell of a ride, but we got there in the end!
We are finally at the final house gang of Necromunda, the technologically supreme, House Van Saar.
 
From their origins in the years before even The Great Crusade, Van Saar bring knowledge and powers beyond even those of the most advanced planets of The Imperium and the Lorekeepers have a lot of fun with this one.
 
We have a robotic spider, who just wants to dance, a Magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus who falls in love with Elmo, Spamuels singing career takes another hit and more gang ideas than you can shake a shock stave at!
 
We couldn’t have picked a better episode to finish off our first season with and the sheer number of gang ideas coming from this book will show you why Van Saar are the one thing Spamuel always manages to paint.

OH BUDDY!!!

We have a date and name for IV!

Brennus Clan will be rocking the house and hopefully finding themselves a new Ancestor Core for the Leagues! (And maybe a 4 time best sports for yours truly!)

Jumping in on with this glorious ratty boy!

A listener heard me ranting (shock horror) about how I wanted one of these glorious Brood Horrors and reached out that he had one sitting around and doing nothing!

So a quick deal later, I have this beautiful mini and it’s about to take a quick tour down into Necromunda!

My rolls got me Nomad, Underhive Slime, Predator/Prey, Call That A Knife and All About That Base.

So naturally I am making an enormous rat being ridden by a Ratskin Shaman!
I’ll be heading very with this one, bringing my idea of what a modern Ratskin would look like in the new setting.

Just gotta think of how I will represent him on the tabletop! I’m thinking as an Ash Wastes Nomad Stormcaller?

Staying strong to the ongoing hobby project (even though I have Secundus minis that demand my attention!) here are a pair of juves for The Brennus Clan!
This pair are crew members of Brennus’ Hold Ship, the Nemesis Enforcer. (Props if you get the reference)

Kharadron Overlord minis are PERFECT for representing younger and more lightly armoured Kin.

Can’t wait to get this gang sorted for and I’m even looking forward to painting them!

Hey there scummers!

It has been a TOUGH fortnight for the Lorekeepers and it’s been damn near impossible to get the Van Saar episode finished in time for our regular release.

So we are giving you all a glimpse into some of what we do on our Patreon.

In this episode, the first of our Patreon exclusive series, we look in on 4 of the Dramatis Personae, randomly picked from our various books. We rolled up Estus Jet, Jonny Razor, Bigby Crumb and Vandoth The Fallen. We look into their lore, create a bit of our own, build gangs around them and inevitably devolve into several Caryatid holes worth of conspiracy and reality tv ideas. Good morrow, scummers!

I bet when you woke up this morning, the first thing you thought was “I really wish I had more than 7 hours of Lorekeepers to listen to today!”

Well once you hit about 31:45, today is your lucky day!

In this episode, the boys go deep into the holy origins of House Cawdor. Preachers, scavengers, holy warriors and ragged outlaws, the House of Faith is infinite in their piety, numbers and sheer willingness to put everything on the line for The Emperor.

There’s prayer, hypocrisy, a cousin named Grub, far too much talk about Spamuel’s butt and a fair amount of arguing between our beloved Lorekeepers!

But it all comes together, just as He planned.

Oh you spoil us!

The Book of Desolation!
We have a title and apparently we are getting 4 new gangs!!

Malstrains.
Those gorgeous new Genestealers in their gloriously irradiated form.

Malstrain Corrupted gangs.
Take all your favourite parts of regular Necromunda gangers and give them a special kiss from a Malstrain!

Spyrer Hunting Parties.
Who needs territory and loot when you can just kill everyone? (And are already SUPER rich!)

The Secundan Incursion gangs.
Get rid of your current leader and head into the Underhells with a Spyrer at the head of your gang instead!

There are also new hired fighters called Abyssal Ferrymen! They’re super customisable fighters that guide you through the tunnels into Secundus.

Warhammer Community will have all the info you need this week, so stay tuned. And obviously, your Lorekeepers will be doing an episode as soon as we have the books in our hands!

Oh and by the way, they know we all love maps. So we get a new Carta Galactica, this one being The Secundan Exclusion Zone.

Look at this beauty!!

This is the Malstrain Alpha and is a brand new beastie available to Malstrain or Malstrain Corrupted gangs.

What are Malstrain or Malstrain Corrupted gangs you ask?

I have no idea, but if this is the type of heavy hitter they are bringing to the table, I am signing up with them and getting myself a new set of forehead ridges!

Apparently, these Alphas are second in power only to the Malstrain Patriarch. Imagine what this things boss looks like!!

We will be getting the rules contained in the next supplement book for Necromunda.

Just because it’s new episode day, doesn’t mean it isn’t still

Here’s the first mini in my new gang, The Brennus Clan.

This is Brennus himself, making use of the awesome new Hernkyn Yaegirs kit, the head of Ragnir Gunnstein and the backpack from Grendl Grendlsen.

I don’t know why, but I just had to make my leader a gunslinging badass and who can say no to those awesome new bolt revolvers?!

Then there’s the Squatgrinder cultist, not sure if I can use him in this gang, as he is 99% Necromunda miniature, except his legs. So that’s a maybe for now.

I’ll have a bit of lore written for each mini in the gang (I love lore, who woulda thunk it?!) and will have it up when I’ve finished the mini. I see Brennus having more gear on him, being the gunslinger type, it’s gotta be ammo yeah?

I’m not gonna give you some fancy breakdown of the rules.
I’m not gonna talk about how to best use these things in your gangs.
I’m not even gonna say that this is something I want, even though we all know it is.

It’s more delicious chaos weapons in Necromunda.

SO MANY GANG IDEAS!

Cawdor Redemptionists who want to turn the power of chaos against heretics and foolishly purchase whispering weapons thinking their faith is stronger.

Co**se Grinders uncover the weapons and attempt to bend the powers to their own, bloodthirsty will, but other beings far more powerful have other ideas and wish to humble the cultists.

Squats who purchase the weapons from wandering traders for little more than rations, thinking they got the better end of the deal.

Get. Around. It. Scummers.

WHAT IS THIS GLORIOUS THING?!?!

This is the new Malstrain Coalescence and it is just one of the new Genestealer cult minis coming our way when we return to Secundus!

This is a flying, psychic champion available for Malstrain Gangs and Malstrain Corrupted Gangs. It’s slow, but has access to its own unique Wyrd Powers, and as it levels up in campaigns, is able to learn even more!

The Warhammer Community article even mentions a new supplement book and something called an Underhells campaign.

This is gonna be so damn good.

In a long forgotten settlement, on a blasted corner Necromunda, House Escher and House Goliath continue their bitter enmity against one another. Scraping for loot, and striving for glory both gangs do all they can to survive a swarm of cannibals.

Myself (Nath) and played two epic (250 creds is still epic) games of Necromunda, and now both are permanently scarred from from their encounters with cannibals and b***y trapped loot markers.

Was great to roll some dice create some classic moments. Once again I forgot how effective Goliaths throwing grenades can be.

I should probably get back to my new Delaque gang, but I’m also VERY tempted to start a gang of meatnecks…

Getting a good look at the terrain we get with the Secundus box today!

Hot damn, if I knew broken was gonna looks so good, I would have started nuking hives years ago!

The broken walls and overgrown piping is so damn good, it would make a great addition to any hive table.
But the absolute winner from this so gas has got to be those data stacks!!!

With more reveals coming out, could we be getting the Secundus box sooner than expected?!?!

My body is ready, my poor wallet is not.

Hello there scummers!

It has been a fortnight!

First, the boys give their breakdown on all the new Necromunda and Necromunda adjacent miniatures revealed this past month both at the reveal and through Warhammer community.

SECUNDUS BABY!

There is A LOT here, so skip through to about 58 minutes in if you want to get straight to your regular Lorekeeper programming.

Then we learn about Spamuels new gang for the year! And also gets upset and puts a bounty on Nathan?
