I have been natural for 8 Years but in Dec 2014 I decided to BIG CHOP!!! I had no idea what I was doing but was determined to figure it out! A year later I launched a YouTube channel to help everyday naturalistas tackle the natural hair journey! I hope to capture the growth, the mistakes and the great hair days in front of all of you! Aside from the channel Naturally Charee is releasing shirts and merchandise to help inspire you to be your best self! Always encouraging you to be Naturally Beautiful. Hold on tight, this is going to be a pretty bumpy ride!!!!

I really thought I was just cutting my hair 😂 but somewhere in the middle of all of this, I realized I might be finding my way back to myself too.

Not the Charee I was 10 years ago—I don’t think that’s the goal. I’m actually really enjoying getting to know the woman I am now. 🥹🤎

So yeah… we growing some hair, but I think I’m growing some other s**t too. 😂🌱

The Black Mom & Co () was created because too many Black moms in Fort Wayne have been navigating motherhood without community, connection, or a true village nearby.

I looked around and realized there wasn’t really a space created for us — a place where Black women and mothers could genuinely connect, support one another, share resources, build friendships, and simply feel seen.

So instead of waiting for it to exist, I decided to create it. 🤎

Black Mom & Co. is more than a brand. It’s a community. A safe space. A village for Black women and mothers in Fort Wayne to commune, grow, heal, laugh, vent, celebrate motherhood, and do life together.

Because we were never meant to do this alone.

If you’ve been looking for your people, this is for you. ✨
I hope we can grow and create the space we’ve all been needing.

When I gave birth to Kassie I was unable to breastfeed due to medications! He struggled really bad with formula and allergic reactions. When I had Kenzie I was so set on breastfeeding I researched my entire pregnancy.

Though the journey started off rough with a lip and tongue tie, which has now been corrected I’ve been blessed with the ability to exclusively breastfeed. And I’m just like wow. I even put in Kassie oatmeal and meals for him toooo🥹 I’ve also accumulated almost 400oz of breast milk as a stash and that’s insane to say!

Black women as a whole have the lowest rates of breastfeeding especially after 6 months, due to significant disparities that are systemic.

It’s my goal to make it to at least one year exclusively breastfeeding and I carry that so greatly. I’m so incredibly grateful that I’ve been supported And encouraged on this journey! Breastfeeding is really so beautiful. 2 months down 🤍
