Kythira, an unspoiled jewel of an island in Greece, is home to approximately 350 monasteries and churches, each with its own history and charm. Among them is Agia Triada, a post-Byzantine church located in the small village of Mitata. Damaged by an earthquake in 2006, this church overlooks the breathtaking Tsakonas Gorge. The combination of its rich history and picturesque location makes Agia Triada a truly magical place to visit.
