Here’s my latest single and lyric video, "Keep Me,” from my upcoming album WHISTLE PAST THE GRAVE (9/15/23, www.AaronSkilesMusic.com)

In their review of the song, the Grateful Web described it as a "profound exploration of loss, love, and legacy, masterfully set to the backdrop of Skiles' raw and rocking soundscape."

The song is based on concepts found in an ancient Jewish meditation for mourners. It talks about the fact that when someone is gone, the love they left behind remains. And rather than mourn their loss, pass that remaining love onto others. On tour last month I mentioned to people that I'd like this song played at my own funeral and I wasn't joking! (Though I am hoping that's quite some time from now.) 😆
