SUNDAYS = FUNDAYS 🫶🏼 well sometimes 🙄 Now that we are back in routine after traveling I am SO fricken happy to be able to create some consistency in my life. How my Sunday goes will basically determine how my week goes (not to be dramatic lol). I use this day to plan my week and meal prep as much as I can, this takes so much stress out of the week for me. If I can throw in self care, a bath and a slow morning, then your girl is golden✨ ALSO this is my official cozy snow day Sunday outfit - get used to seeing it 😉 #sundayreset #restday #sundayfunday #veganlife #ugccreator #ugccontentcreator
DAY OF SURGERY!!!!👃🏥 I barely slept the night before because I was SO excited and nervous! I have had surgery in the past for injuries but never “elective”, they were all emergencies, so I was still nervous about going under. The whole drive there I felt like I was going to throw up lol, but I just kept reassured myself I was in the BEST or the best hands and that this is something that I really wanted to do. From the minute I walked into the office all the staff there also reassured me and made me feel safe and cared for. We got started right away! I arrived at 7am and by 7:33am I was walking into the operation room! All I had to do before surgery was change into the surgical clothes, give a pee sample, get my blood pressure taken, and ice my nose for 20 minutes. Once I was in the surgical room, I met the anesthesiologist and we all had a nice chat. Then they had given me something to calm my nerves (it felt like getting buzzed) and about two minutes after that they put me under. I don’t even remember falling asleep, but I remember feeling safe and calm. I woke up in the recovery area with a MEGA dry throat (which I remembered from previous surgeries) and asked for some ice chips. I was also super super cold so they gave me some extra blankets and my jacket again. I was comfortable in no time. Over the next 20 minutes I started to feel some pain so they gave me one of the post surgery pain killers and I just rested until Edden came to pick me up. Dr. Dugar came over to let me know how the surgery went. He was so stoked with how it turned out! They explained the aftercare that I need to do that day and then it was time for me to go back home. It was 10:30am by that time(so fast!) Pro tip: Bring an airplane neck pillow for the car ride home! My head was bobbling all over the place because I was in and out of sleep. Follow for part 3 to see how much I bruised throughout the week and how the recovery week went! #nosejob #nosejobbeforeanda
Everything I needed to do before getting a rhinoplasty! ⬇️ 1. For 1 month before surgery: NO alcohol, caffeine, or medications (advil, mitol etc.) Only Tylenol was allowed 2. Had to get bloodwork done for medical clearance for surgery 3. Take pre surgery medication. The first is called Arnica (it’s a natural homeopathic pill) to reduce inflammation, swelling, and bruising. I took that for 7 days before surgery. And 5 days before surgery, I had to start using an Antibacterial creme inside my nose at night. 4. I did everything I could to make myself comfortable. For me, having soups and mash potatoes ready to go was extremely helpful! Since post surgery my nose was stuffed I could only eat liquid/ soft things for a few days because if I had to chew I would be so out of breath since I couldn’t breathe from my nose lol. Also having a humidifier next to the bed helped a ton in terms of relieving my dry throat because of the mouth breathing. 5. Taking some last videos of my old nose! I did this for two reasons, the first being because I wanted to say goodbye in a way to my current appearance and mentally prepare myself for the change about to happen. The second reason being that after I got the cast off I could take the same videos to compare and see the changes really clearly (especially because I had a bump - since I don’t see myself from side profile, the videos help!) Pro tip: Download audio books! When you’re icing the first week, you’re icing a lot and you can’t watch TV because your eyes are covered. I highly recommend any of Sarah J. Maas books (Throne of Glass series, ACOTAR, or Crescent City) IYKYK😉 Also DO NOT order any fancy ice kit! You won’t use in The most comfortable icing is by filling the fingers of a latex glove with ice and laying two fingers on one side of the nose and two fingers on the other. Follow for pt. 2 for SURGERY DAY! 🤩😟👃 #nosejob #rhinoplasty #rhinoplastybeforeandafter #rhinoplastyspecialist #nose #vlo
