Fitba' Shorts Ayrshire Film Company's "Fitba' Shorts" are a team of volunteers who film football highlights and extras in our communities.

Ayrshire Film Company set up 'Fitba Shorts' as a project with the aim to provide volunteers with 'real life' TV/Media experience via filming of Junior football matches. We are also working in partnership with Auchenharvie Academy where we have set up a media training programme/mock Fitba Shorts company in school with volunteer pupils. Our volunteers give up their unpaid time and efforts to produce

this high quality programme and develop their own skills in media and beyond. We receive no funding and always seeking sponsor/donations.

Fitba Shorts

We are also working in partnership with Auchenharvie Academy where we have set up a media training programme/mock Fitba Shorts company in school with volunteer pupils. Our volunteers give up their unpaid time and efforts to produce this high quality programme and develop their own skills in media and beyond. We receive no funding and seek sponsors/donations.

Now in its third year, Fitba Shorts has been growing in stature and appreciated by clubs and fans of the game. It also provides vital, unique media and social skills experience for our crew not provided elsewhere. We have a number of our volunteers moving into either education/employment with the support of AFC staff e.g Rebecca Galt, now a UWS student of film and media who started with us as a pupil from Auchenharvie Academy season 2016-17 (still with us), Jay McCook also started 2016-17 season from school and now studying HNC Broadcasting to name a few.
