Epic Mickey 2 is a big disappointment. While many people didn’t expect much from the sequel, I really enjoyed the original and its cast of characters a lot. The follow-up seems to have taken many turns during design and development, resulting in an embarrassing, boring and simplistic 3D platform game.

This year saw a bit of a stealth renaissance, with games like Dishonored and Mark of the Ninja showing how much fun to have to stay invisible. Stealth Bastard Deluxe, a new version of a cult freeware prototype, comes to this list as a year-end add-on. He also has the slogan of tactical spying as***le, and I can imagine that this fact alone has guaranteed him at least a few sales.
