I was tasked with being emcee for An Evening With The Friars Minor at Ross McKnight's Backwater Farmstead this past Saturday where almost 100 guests attended to support Fra Anthony, his charges and their building of a new ABbey in the hinterlands of North Carolina. We were fed by celebrity chef Chef Andrew Gruel in a beautiful evening that ended with the Brothers singing Franz Biebl's "Ave Maria"!
