J.A.M. Records has been founded and will be run by James A McBride. James is a five year veteran of the entertainment industry . Starting out in the industry as a GoGo dancer in Las Vegas made many connections with industry professionals (DJs, Dancers, Producers, Photographers, Ve
nue Owners, Promoters, Media Outlets,…) , Moving back to California James continued to rise in his career and build his network as an entertainer. James began to consider a career in the music industry because of his passion for music. He began doing research and developed a business model that could, in the long term, be sustainable by developing a local, exclusive record label. This was the beginning of J.A.M. A record label is a brand or trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos. Often, a record label is also a publishing company that manages such brands and trademarks; coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, promotion, and enforcement of copyright for sound recordings and music videos; conducts talent scouting and development of new artists ("artists and repertoire" or "A&R"); and maintains contracts with recording artists and their managers.
