It is just over 10 years since I became a podcaster, writing, recording, editing and producing several different series around comics, geek culture and family history.
I have loved this, as anyone who knows me can attest to their peril.
I was inspired by some fantastic podcasters who became podcasting buddies. I was joined for most of this by Charlotte and Katherine (Katherine and Charlotte), providing many hours of laughter and exasperation during the recordings. I had other friends and family join me over the decade, and I was even proudly invited on other podcasts.
I produced pantomimes, started sandwich emporiums, visited many places with my microphone, lived through the first world war, listened to my life flash before my ears and read, watched and reviewed countess comics, moves, TV shows and sandwiches.
I have seen a change over the years in the way that podcasts are made, listened to and viewed by the public. Going from being a quirky hobby to a huge business for some (but I still prefer the quirky hobby podcasters).
If you have written encouragement, listened to all or just one episode, or liked a post, thank you for being on this journey with us
We have not stopped podcasting, we have just paused for now.

Two of my fav podacster (and there are many) talking about parenthood and giving sage advice that I need at the moment as C is beginning her journey to leaving home, by heading to university. "If you've done your job right, they don't need you anymore. as upsetting as that can be sometimes, it means you have done a good job." Timely advice guys, thank you.
They also talk about some guy in a crazy mask, but the parenting advice is good.
