🚶🚶‍♀️ Trevisker Community Meadow (Andrew Whittle) and Mumonmuddylane (Rose Cant) are hosting 2 workshops with lunch on the 5th and 9th December, to promote positive perinatal mental health through connecting with the outdoors.

🤰 If you are pregnant or have given birth in the last year we are offering a space to meet up with other Mums or Mums to be, to share stories and offer support for each other.

🌿 The workshop is a Mini Herb garden which you will plant up in a pot and then take home with you at the end.

🍲 We will then have a lunch prepared by Mum on Muddy Lane's Rose Cant using some of the fresh produce grown at Trevisker Community Meadow.

📅 Timings are 11:30 - 13:30 with Lunch at 12:30

🌸 Feel free to enjoy the space afterwards.

📍 The workshop will take place just behind Trevisker Garden Centre.

🔟 Spaces are limited to 10 per workshop.

🥾 We advise wearing wellies and warm outdoor clothing which we extend to your child also.

🩲 Changing and toilet facilities are available in the garden centre.

sexy pork shnitzel and celeriac slaw with little jammy tomatoes

ingredients

pork leg steak
flour
eggs
breadcrumbs
oregano
smoked paprika
salt and pep
butter
olive oil
fennel seeds
cherry tomatoes

For the slaw
half a celeriac
1 tbsp creme fraiche
1 tbsp mayonaise
juice and zest of half a lemon
1 teaspoon capers smashed up a bit
black pepper
salt

to do...
smash your pork steak until about 2mm thick

season your flour egg and breadcrumbs with the oregano and paprika and salt and pepper

coat the pork in the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.

Over a medium heat dry the shnitzel in a tbsp olive oil, with a handful of fennel seeds and a k**b of butter. baste it both sides with the butteryness. Cook for 3 minutes a side and then rest.
Halve tomatoes and add to the pan to soften and go a bit gnarly and jammy.

Meanwhile for the slaw, grate the celeriac with a box grater and mix with all other ingredients in a bowl. season to taste.

Stack everything up and devour.
