About the album:
"8 centavos e vários nada" (2022)
This most recent work is decisive proof of the chaotic state in which we live and how sometimes drastic actions are necessary.
As you all know, I backpacked across Europe, passing through Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia - some part of Eastern Europe - going through Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and 12 hours by bus across Bulgaria towards Turkey, "the middle of the world", going to the Asian side of Istanbul, just to see the history/antiquity alive, mixed with the modern.
In this journey, in this adventure, I was inspired and recording for an album that will contain some poems and texts about this trip. I also made some records in photos and videos (mini clips) of the places and path where I walked.
This album was produced completely independently, in the roots and in the race and with the help of great friends without whom it would never have been possible to carry out this project which, in essence, was conceived with scarce resources. This work shows my situation on the road with only 8 cents in my bank account, several broken instruments and no computer.
I managed to complete this work using resources such as voice, improvised instruments and a lot of percussion. Editing and mixing a good part of the work by cell phone because art cannot stop and to express ourselves we do everything we can.
Everything on this album was built around DIY (Do It Yourself).
