(3) TEEN GANG MEMBERS PLEADED GUILTY TO ROBBERIES OF TWO PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVERS
South Fulton, Georgia (September 11, 2019); Yesterday, Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. announced the GUILTY PLEAS, in Fulton County Superior Court, of 16-year-old DE’QUANDRE WEAVER, 18-year-old TYYNEEFAH WELLS, and 15-year-old ANTHONY CLEVELAND for the violent armed robberies of (2) pizza delivery drivers.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Kevin Farmer sentenced Wells, Weaver, and Cleveland following their non-negotiated pleas to the indictment in this case.
Weaver: 20 years to serve
(Armed Robbery, Hijacking a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with Intent to Murder, Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Simple Battery)

Defendants were 13, 14, and 16-years-old at the time of the incidents. On July 6, 2017, 16-year-old Tyyneefah Wells called Marco’s Pizza in College Park for a delivery to an abandoned home along Smoke Ridge Drive (now incorporated City of South Fulton). When the driver, 20-year-old King Melton arrived, he was attacked by Wells and 14-year-old De’Quandre Weaver. Melton tried to get away from the teens as they attempted to steal his car at gunpoint, but he was shot once in the arm, hip, and pen*s.
