I began sharing our family travel stories after many of my friends called, texted, or nagged at me to find out where our latest adventure was. The real truth about our adventures is I have a strong dislike for sitting still, being bored, and really don’t like to go to the same old places everyone else goes. I am no nature expert even though we spend a lot of time outdoors, however, I have a firm b

elief that fresh air exhaust kids, getting a little dirty is good for their health, and discovering new things keeps them diversified. When I am not blogging, traveling, or chasing kids, I enjoy running, dancing, and photography.

My Cottage Room is coming to life! 🥰. I am in love with it. Feels so inviting.

🛋️ I plan to paint the couch a deep gray color but let the floral show through.

🗄️ The cabinet is from Celesse’s bedset. Thinking deep dark blue or white.

💚 The Green and Yellow Dresser is the dresser I refinished while I was pregnant with Dillard. Thinking deep dark blue or white for it also, but struggling with this piece as he signed his name to the top of it when he learned to write. 😍

📺 The Tv stand is my GaGa’s Dresser. My Great Grandpa bought it for her when she was a teenager. She said it cost him $5 so she sold it to me before she left us for $5. I need a piece of art for above the tv. 🤔

🖼️ The 2 pictures are from my Mother In-laws collection. I was fond of them and decided they were some to keep.

I am almost ready for tea in my cottage room. 😁

**** note all this furniture and decor I used is vintage. I reduce the waste going to the landfills by redoing furniture. 😀

There was suppose to be a Presidential Debate tonight on CNN! I couldn’t find it, BUT I did find 2 old men that are running for the highest elected office in our county insulting each other on live tv.

So Baby Rex and I took Cat Selfies.

In reality, how do we expect kindergarteners to get along if our country’s leaders get on social platforms and act like bully each other - ALL leaders. Follow any Republican, Democrats, Libertarian, or Independent Politician’s Social Platform and it is mudslinging, hate slinging, ridiculousness.

I am TIRED of the fighting. We can’t fix problems if we can’t work through problems and work together for what’s best for our country, states, county, city, schools, ect...

Now I will get my soapbox and back to Baby Rex Selfies!

PS, my opinion does not reflect who I will vote for, nor do I share who I vote for beyond our local Mayor Election - and that is obvious. 😉
