After a 5 year launch break Missile Records has been re-booted and re-activated. Label boss Tim Taylor is also one of the first independent techno A+R man from the UK and began his A+R career in 1989 with the "Energy DJs" concept album which featured new and exclusive material from The KLF, Sha-Lor, Frankie Bones, Lenny Dee - Mr C + Kid Batchelor. Tim began his music career in New York working for
Fourth Floor Records and Experimental Records with Damon Wild , Tommy Musto and Silvio Tancredi between 1990 and 94. Missile was originally created in 1994 and returns now as Missile 2.0 , a new re-incaration and re-interpretation of the classic techno sound. Expect an explosive mix of both reworks of the label's extensive back catalog highlights like "Confusion/Theme from Blade" by Pump Panel and brand new material by Tim and guests. The Missile ethos of releasing music by proven techno stars alongside material by new talent will continue with Missile 2.0. First up on Missile 2.0 is the "Bang the Acid - Rebanged" project which features a barrage of volatile new remixes of one of the most respected and popular acid house tracks in history.
