Consistency for you, but be different from another account and that is OK!

The best way to stay consistent is to get your systems organized and in place of how you create your content.

We like to start with 1️⃣ a posting schedule. This we call the baseline of posting. For example maybe it’s only 3 times a week for you, with additional stories. Anything more than the baseline is extra content!

2️⃣ by loading your logos, fonts, brand colours right into , you can easily customize templates to match your branding

And lastly, when you’ve created your posts 3️⃣ pop them right into or your favourite scheduler so you don’t even have to worry! Avoiding that daily manual posting is a huge help, as you can instantly start focusing on other tasks to run your business 👏👏

5 things that I've learned over the last two years that really help me as an entrepreneur...⬇️

You know those days when that feeling creeps in... the what am I doing, is this really right for me, look at THEM... they're doing so much better...

Yeah, we all have those days and that noisy voice, you can tell to go away 😂

Here are 5 things that I TRY and remember, as a busy entrepreneur:

1. Your MIND is your most powerful tool. Your mindset really can be your superpower 💪so get intentionally about how you start your day and keep your mind healthy.

2. You don't need 50k followers to have a successful business! I've seen accounts with less than 1,000 followers be fully sold out of products or booked up with their services 👏

3. You don't have to do it all alone. This is probably the hardest one for me... but asking for help is OK and NECESSARY when you are running a business. It is okay not to be an expert in all areas 💡

4. Starting your own business is truly an investment in yourself. You gain this empowering feeling when you are carving out your own way, and setting and achieving your own goals. It is the best! 📈

5. It is okay to take a break. In fact you need to. Having an outlet that refuels your creativity and drive is a necessary part of being an entrepreneur! ☀️

Summer is usually the time for lower engagement on social media - think everyone is outdoors more, enjoying the weather!

If you're worried about your engagement rate, here are 3 things you can do to increase your engagement.

1) Post VIDEO content - I dare you to try ;)

2) Use a CTA (call to action) in your captions - seems simple, but it really does work when you give someone an action!

3) Be consistent - I know.... you have heard this before. But really give it a shot, not just for 1 week or 2 weeks, but give it 12 weeks and see what you learn and what your insights tell you

You know that saying, "good things take time"?

This generally goes for social media too! Short cuts, instant results or promises of overnight success just aren't it here.

Reaching your digital goals takes time! Consistency means a lot on social media and having a social media strategy is the perfect place to start!

How will you know you've reached your goals, if you're not clear on what those goals are for social?

The next time you feel frustrated that you haven't reached a follower count milestone in a few months, keep in mind:

• Start with realistic expectations
• Have a clear plan (AKA, social media strategy) in place
• Know that your social media is a long game

To close off the week, I wanted to share 3 mistakes I often see brands making on social media.

Read below...

FIRST - Not having a strategy around stories. If you saw the stat I shared earlier this week, it stated: " 58% of Instagram users report being more interested in a brand's product after seeing it in a story".

SECOND - Not telling your audience about your products or services! You may think your audience knows, but chances are there is some of your following that may not know all the ways they can shop with your, or hire your services.

THIRD - Not using a call to action on your posts. This is a MUST. Leaving a clear next step for your audience, whether to leave a comment, SHOP the link, DM you, SAVE this post, is a great way to drive engagement and steer your audience towards your goal of the post.

Unpopular opinion: Worry less about the algorithm and more about showing up as authentically you!

What do you think? Do you agree?

I have seen this happen more than a few times, where the worry about algorithm this... and algorithm that takes over. Try, try to get this out of your head and remember that a clear, well thought out social strategy always is better. You then start to talk to your audience and not the algorithm!

It’s okay to show up imperfectly.
It’s certainly okay to show up as you!
It’s also okay to show up when you can.

With social media, if your focus is growth, or engagement on your platform, I always recommend consistency. Consistency in posting, and consistency in showing up!

Sometimes that means daily and sometimes that means on a schedule that works better for you!
