The dreaded ambull with a colorshifting carapace (borealis green from ). Everything else is an experiment with Games Workshop colours, like layer colours thinned down with contrast paints, mixes of washes and contrasts, coloured underlaying gradients... It has been a lot of fun!

So, I have finished painting him! Doubtless the most detailed model I have ever painted, and the one I spent more time on. I tried to apply all the lessons and techniques I have learned in many years of painting and I am proud of him. The only thing is... I understood I don't really like painting cables 😅
