Boating in London - Things to do in summer!☀️ @goboatldn Locations - Paddington, Kingston, Thames Ditton, Canary Wharf and Birmingham. We went on the Thames Ditton route this time and it was beautiful! The area is similar to Kingston, surrounded by natural beauty. We went up to the Hampton Court Palace and Kingston riverside, luckily it was sunny! We had a small picnic because last time we brought a lot but couldn’t eat it all. We wanted to focus on the route and not bump into others😂 but also just to enjoy the scenery. It was safe, sociable and a fun experience and this was our favourite route! It’s the perfect way to spend time with your favourite people in summer. Remember that the driver is not allowed to have alcohol. A must save restaurant for special occasions in Hertfordshire!🇬🇧 How gorgeous is this manor house hotel in St Albans?😍 We visited for Ollie’s birthday and had a great time! It’s fab for birthdays and celebrations. It’s also a wedding venue, honestly it’s stunning with a huge garden and a lake. 📍St Michael’s Manor Hotel, St Albans, Hertfordshire. @stmichaelsmanorhotel We tried their Sunday lunch and it was quite filling and scrumptious! We loved their starters so much, lovely combinations and tasted amazing. The mains were cooked perfectly and the portion was great. The desserts were heavenly, the perfect end to the meal. Think we spent around 4 hours here!😂 We tried their lunch menu and it was honestly incredible! The food is not only beautifully plated but rich, tasty and filling. We were blown away by their black cod miso, the combination of flavours is insanely good, you just have to try it for yourself. Classical Music Concert in a Church - Date Night Idea🎶 Organised by @redevents_uk the programme included the music of the world famous Italian neoclassical composer Ludovico Einaudi. This was our second concert with @redevents_uk - we love listening to classical music. It’s sort of a meditation in itself and helps you escape into a different world! The music - A tribute to Ludovico Einaudi @ludovico_einaudi , played by @tarasova.piano This time the concert was held inside this beautiful church which has been a centre of Christian worship from at least the 12th century. 📍St. Mary’s Church, Putney, London. Taco Nights at the Pub!🌮 📍Spit and Sawdust, Close to Elephant and Castle, London. @spit_n_sawdust (Ad) The tacos and churros here were delicious! Visited this pub on a Friday night for some tacos and it was so busy! They have an outdoor seating area at the back, so luckily we got some seats there. Our favourite tacos were definitely the vegan ones😍surprisingly it was loaded and more filling than the meat ones. The pork tacos were tasty too! The churros are a must, it came with warm chocolate dip and it was so good! They also have beer cocktails which are cool, we tried them and it was pretty good. The pub has something going on every night like quiz night, 2 for 1 cocktails etc. Our seats weren’t reserved sadly even though we had informed the staff, so we had to sit out in the cold, but make sure to book your seats before you go! Currently, they are doing vegan sushi for veganuary. We went to try this last week and it was pretty good! We liked the vegan dragon roll which had different textures and layers and was tasty even without the meat. The other vegan sushi we liked was the crunchy roll which was delish and crispy on the outside. We also tried some dishes which were not vegan just to see how they tasted. The shrimp tempura was so crispy and our favourite! We also liked the chicken katsu curry which came with the curry on the side rather than everything mixed in one bowl which was nice. They also do burgers, salads, desserts and milkshakes. We tried their pizza, dessert and milkshake which were all delicious and filling. It’s mostly a takeaway spot but they have two tables inside if you want to grab a quick bite. We added our choice of toppings for the pizza and it was yummy! The salad was pretty fresh and balanced well with the pizza. The biscoff milkshake was so good, this is a must try! You can choose 2 sides and a main for £7.50 - regular box. For a large box, you get 2 mains and 3 sides for £10.50. For eat in, you pay £1.50 more.
