I’ve noticed lately that in online polls the Atari Lynx is considered by many to be one of the worst consoles ever made. I was an Atari Lynx owner, I saved and saved my paper round money and bought one from Rumbelows in Bishop Auckland. I have nothing but great memories of playing on this thing. The Lynx was a 16bit, colour, hand held gaming console which, at the time in my opinion, was groundbreaking.
I do recall there not being a huge catalogue of games available, around 70 I believe, unlike the Nintendo Gameboy, which I also loved, that had hundreds, maybe over a thousand in total. My point is that just because it didn’t get the consumer and development support it deserved it was by no means a bad console.
What other low key gaming systems do you feel deserved more love? Hit me up in the comments 😃🙏

I’m so impressed with Dead Space remake. The improvements have made a great game into an amazing and unforgettable experience in my opinion
