Your Unity is a show that speaks to you, for you. Formally known as “Global Trance”, this radio show stems from 12 years of on air exposure with previous hosts Shane Cross & Brett James, provid

ing upfront and quality melodic electronic dance music. Your Unity explores Progressive, Trance, Tech, Deep & House Music, with everything in-between. Its hosts Contagious & Jem Lang are easily considered as two of the most passionate and popular Trance & Progressive DJs the Adelaide scene has to offer. Contagious has been DJ’ing and playing Trance and Progressive since 2004 when he was only 16 and continues now to always push quality productions. He is well known for his well-educated sets, energetic live performances and great sense of humour and energy on air. Jem Lang gives fresh life to the Australian airwaves and nightclubs internationally. Having always embraced the wider global influences of Trance and Progressive, his passion for discovering and playing the best music took him to London. Jem Lang made himself at home as a DJ at the Gallery at the iconic club Ministry of Sound. Since returning to Australia he has become a regular on the festival circuit for Stereosonic and Future Music as well as many clubs throughout the country. Your Unity features three amazing segments; the ‘Premium Pick’, which is a pick of the week, usually a new fresh quality production; the ‘Prestigious Pick’ which is an older, classic, influential tune which still continues to deliver quality sounds and fond memories; and the ‘Ken Spector Selector’ where Ken Spector (Lens) from Los Angeles USA selects his pick of the week, which is an amazing selection of Progressive and Melodic Trance, picked months before the release date, or exclusive tracks never heard before by the general public. It's been almost three years since I dropped Musicality IX. I see this compilation series as a personal expression. Not just from compiling music that I admire but a reflection on who I am and where I am during the time of its release.

Volume IIX came to you during the 2020 Covid outbreak, then IX dropped ten years since my first in 2011. This means I haven’t expressed my musical passion with you all since 2021! We took a trip down memory lane with IX and even deeper with Classic House & Trance for the ‘Classic Edition’, so I wanted to make sure X had a greater meaning, offering a bigger impact.

I'm excited to share Musicality X with you. I think it captures something special. Even if I do not reach a lot of streams or downloads, none of that matters. I enjoy listening back to Musicality, as a self-reflection and a musical archive.

It doesn’t matter who the artists are, the labels, the speed, the genre, when the songs were released or even the musical direction; what does matter to me is the musical impact. There’s musicality in everything. Musicality is the quality of having a pleasant sound, all I ask from you, is to listen.
