I know exactly where to park in Edison Heights. I know every unlocked and available bathroom, the temperature and flow of the water that runs into every sink, and how frequently the soap is filled.

I know where the best coffee places are, and where the best shade trees line the quietest parking lots. When I leave the house in the morning, I leave with a backpack, looking as close to homeless as a person with an actual job can.
