Generate 3D models from a single image in seconds, no GPU required?

Another Stability AI model was released this week in partnership with Tripo, you need to check this out if you're curious about making games, 3D printing, or augmented reality.

For the sharpest results, try this:

- Use images with a single object against a transparent or white background.
- Choose or create images with a 3D-rendered or plastic appearance.

My take: The ability to predict the unknown area of the image is highly impressive, but the texturing and overall quality still need improvement to fully challenge the role of human 3D artists.

Lots of fun messing around with Recraft AI this week. It's so easy to make beautiful on-brand vector artwork and icons all in my preferred future psychedelic style (my default, apparently).
