When I visit Tokyo I like to stay in the Asakusa area , its an old area, and around Sensoji (temple) are many small stores and restaurants.. In 2008 Mom had a stroke, lost her memory, developed expressive aphasia and was declared not competent to handle personal affairs. I can’t remember losing any canned fruit, because I always did it according to the directions, but the pressure canner shortened the time so much. You might cook something three hours by the cold pac method and be done in 20 minutes or so by the pressure cooker, That was the advantage there…...
