When you are chef and baker then go all out on your son’s graduation and send-off party: *
He’s moving to Boston to start his new job at Wayfair as an Operations and Business Analyst.

It rained throughout the party, so we couldn’t take many pictures. Thank you to everyone who came in the rainy weather to attend, bless and make the event a success.

I had the honor of being invited as a guest speaker at my daughter’s high school, courtesy of the business department. *
I am deeply grateful for the invitation. During my talk, I shared insights on my passions, successes, and failures, which made for an incredible experience. Then we engaged in breakout sessions, during which some students experimented with cupcake-making. What stood out was seeing my own daughter enthusiastically participating in the activity as well. lol 😂 *
I completely agree that success and failure often go hand in hand, and mistakes serve as crucial stepping stones to success. *
The phrase “be comfortable being uncomfortable” resonates deeply with me as well. Stepping out of our comfort zones is essential for growth, and the rewards are often worth the initial discomfort. While some may get this concept sooner, others may need to put in more effort, but the journey is ultimately enriching for everyone.

This cake has become one of my favorites. Each element was thoroughly enjoyed. *
This 25th wedding anniversary cake. Customer’s request for fresh peonies being out of season, I crafted beautiful peonies using gum paste. *
Every component of the cake is edible. Unfortunately, I was not to capture photos with the stunning topper by Satya from . Be sure to check out her incredible work. I highly recommend her; she’s truly one of the best in the industry, consistently delivering outstanding results. Thank you, Satya. *
The bottom tier featured a delightful combination of cardamom and saffron, filled with pistachio cream, while the top tier boasted rich chocolate with milk chocolate ganache. *
Credits: Gum paste from .ice, eucalyptus leaves from , cake board and supplies from silver dust from , and color from .mill—I utilized pink and brown hues to achieve this lovely dusky pink shade.

Though Easter is still 52 days away, I couldn’t resist trying into something new: Paper Quilling.
Attended a class on quilling and then tried using edible paper to craft eggs, leaves, and a wreath—all from wafer paper on this cake.
It was a challenging for sure, but I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the process.
I covered the cake with fondant, deviating from my usual approach, and it turned out to be a worthwhile experiment! *
The rabbit on the cake was pre-made.
I used techniques to color and also used colored Waffer paper,
